Invitation to Delurk

This blog post is an open invitation for all my readers to come forth and introduce themselves in the comments. I have not had much luck with such invitations before. I am guessing I will probably get no comments on this post. But, it would be nice to know a little bit about my readership.

Good morning. I'm John Angliss, a SOAS Politics BA student who did an optional module in Central Asia last year and so became very interested in the region.

Thanks for the comment.

Dear Otto,

Well, you know I've been here before, and thought you would like to know I'm still a frequent visitor, at least what concerns issues related to "Eastern Europe".

Yours,

Vilhelm

Thanks for commenting as always. I suspect that this blog will have a lot more posts on Central Asia once I get over there. Although my blogging will probably slow down considerably until I get settled in Bishkek.

Well, as you know, I'm still here ;))
Hope you're doing good!

Thanks for the comment Kristin. I notice a pattern on those delurking here. They are all from northern Europe. I am not sure if that means anything or not.

Well, I guess if you were writing about history of aborigines you would get most visits and comments from Aussies ;))

Is DELURK a real word?? The way it sounds for my Estonian ear makes me laugh :))

I once had a boyfriend whose last name was Pohl. But he was Austrian and that was long ago.
For your stats, I am a first time visitor.

May, thank you very much for commenting. It is always nice to know about new readers. I hope you stop by again.
