Today

Early today I checked up on a number of pieces I have in the publication pipeline. That went fairly well. I heard back from three of the four people I wrote. I also sent off my last writing assignment to the editor today.

Later today did not go as well. For a couple of hours I thought I had lost a library book. I finally found it in a place it must have walked to on its own volition. I certainly do not remember putting it there.

Well, there are some philosphies that come pretty close to that conclusion.

Oops, I meant to write philosophies. I wish there was spell check on comments. It would prevent mistakes like the one above from happening.

Working in a library I hear many reasons why people can't return their books on time. Walking library books is a good one!

Though my personal favourite is when I'm told they can't return the book because they haven't finished reading it!

I never turned in a library book late in Arivaca. You can renew books online up to three times. So that gives you a total of nine weeks. If you can not finish reading a book in that time maybe its time to give up on it for the time being.
