Robots

At this point I am pretty sure this blog has no human readers other than my parents. But, just in case I am wrong about this above point I encourage any readers I might have to leave a comment. My thinking is that nobody will comment and that will be confirmation that all of the hits on my site counter are in fact bots and not real human beings. It seems really strange that 99% of my "readers" are robots and not humans.

Not a Bot! Beep-beep!

Your web site uses a reCAPTCHA box to check that says I'm not a robot, nicht wahr? Have the latest-generation of bots learned how to overcome this feature?

I hope that you are well and happy in your new position in Kurdistan?

Sometimes I do not have an opinion of your comments or I do not know how to respond as some topics, e.g., Kurdistan history, is beyond my experiences. However, I do find it interesting.

Does blogging cost you IRL money? I have never thought about that before.

And thank you for documenting the history of the Germans in Volhynia and the Germans in Russia in general. I've learned quite a lot!

Captcha only applies to the comments and the only person that comments is you. Views are a different matter. The semester is finishing up here. Blogging is free for me.

I am not a bot, and I follow your blog

Maybe the lack of comments correlates with the number of posts declaring that nobody ever reads this blog? Its also hard to post comments to blogger.

Book and Sword:

Yes, it is true I only get comments when I note that all empirical evidence points to this blog having no human readers other than my parents.

I come by your site about 4 times a week, and have for several years. I don't often say anything, it's true, but that's because I'm dull, not you.

Please keep going.

If I was ever a bot, however briefly, it was so long ago that I can't remember it.

I'm here and I'm not a bot. I'm always interested in Germans from Russia as well as any interesting information about civilizations and ethnic groups that fly under the radar, so to speak. I became aware of you through some Facebook page and from time to time, see what you have to say in other place. I would like to read more of your blog and your post here reminds me to make it here more often! I have a lot of catch-up to do, and will get started very soon!
