The semester is coming to an end. As far as teaching goes I think this semester was pretty successful. It certainly seems like these were the best and brightest students I have ever taught. But, maybe I am just so tired from waking up at 4 am to teach them that I can't tell.
Please recommend your writings on the topic of Volhynia-Germans during Imperial Russia and then Communist Russia governments and the subsequent Volhynia-German diaspora?
ReplyDeleteMy elderly great-grandfather (who lived in Marinovka-on-Gorin, Volhynia (approximately fifty miles from the city of Rovno) died in the forced deportation during WWI, and I wish to learn more about this tragedy.
