Update on Salaita Petition

I have now collected 45 signatures from historians in North America, Latin America, Europe and Africa. All those that signed here on the blog should now show up in the comments. I have to approve them to prevent commercial spam. From about 5:00 pm to 8:30 am Ghanaian time I am away from the Internet. If you e-mailed me then you should have gotten a response back from me acknowledging the addition of your name to the petition. I am going to e-mail the petition to Chancellor Wise before 5:00 pm 15 August 2014.
