Sixty Nine Years since the Fire Bombing of Dresden
Although any discussion of Allied war crimes during WWII is generally taboo still even today it should be noted that 13-15 February 2014 is the 69th anniversary of the firebombing of Dresden.
Offhand, I'd say that a German living in Africa, complaining of allied war crimes and with, by your own admission, a rightwing perspective, isn't likely to attract so many readers.
It's a strange combination. People in general avoid anyone or anything strange.
In addition, most people in the U.S., Europe and Latin America (where I live) aren't much interesed in Africa. Maybe if you were to write about African cuisine, you'd attract the foodies, etc.
People in general are much more superficial than you realize and when they're not so superficial, they still prefer to go for themes that are certified as kosher, so to speak, say, gay marriage. You might speak out more about repression against gays or female genital mutilation in Africa: that would bring more readers.
I know that my comments probably seem very negative to you, but I tend to be negative myself. So you have one reader, a negative one.
