Is sherbet a beverage over there?

Sherbet is the indigenous term for kompot. The term is Arabic in origin I believe.

Is not Kvass a loan word from Russian into Kyrgyz? When I studied the Russian language, it was said by teachers that you could not speak good Russian without first acquiring a taste for Kvass.

Do the Kyrgyz use the same ingredients to make Kvass as the Russians like black rye bread?

Yes, kvass is a Russian drink and it is made the same here as in Rossiia.
