If you are reading this blog and not directly related to me by blood please let me know. I am thinking I must have some readers other than my family. But, I have no idea who other than my family actually reads this thing.
Nobody smokes in Ghana as far as I can tell. There is a Lebanese community here and they have some restraunts, but I have not seen any shisha joints. Maybe Nina knows?
I check out your blog perhaps once a week or every 10 days. I try to read all posts about the Germans in Russia, and all aspects of Russian life which affected them. I live in Canada.
Reading you loud and clear. My life has been ueberbusy lately, but you're at the top of my feed list. BTW, I'm now reading Dmytro Myeshkov's book, The Black Sea Germans and Their World, 1781-1871. It's based on his dissertation, which won the Drupa prize for the best dissertation in the Philosophy Faculty at the Heinrich Heine University in Duesseldorf in 2006. He does a great integration of Ukrainian archival sources.
I am not a member of your family, but living and working in Accra. And I have posted comments before.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I actually get very few hits from Ghana so I was assuming that most of them recently were from myself.
ReplyDeleteHey Otto, any hookah bars there?
ReplyDeleteI read you!
