Reader Survey 2014

It has been a while since I have done a reader survey. It has also been a long time since anybody has commented on this blog. I am not sure if that is because I have no human readers left other than my parents or if people have just given up arguing with me. Granted my ideas are so far outside the  mainstream it may just be that people figure that there is no place to even start to disagree.

I read your blog, of course. I'm so busy these days I don't have time to comment on my own blog.

As for people commenting, I don't know. I see whole threads of comments on other blogs about the most inane subjects, as well as on subjects similar to the controversial ones you write about. I have no idea why those blogs get comments and yours doesn't.

I used to follow several blogs, but they all got boring. I follow Goble's blog, one on Russian grammar, and one other called the philosophy smoker, although I never read it and should just unsubscribe.

So, um, where's the survey? If it interests you, I too am conducting a survey.

Love your stuff.

I hit your site 3-4 times a week. Granted I don't comment often ... but you're probably not missing much.

Thank you everybody for responding. It looks like I have about half a dozen readers. More than I thought, but still only about half of my original goal when I started this blog over ten years ago.

I check it out a few times a week.

Also, my Feedly shows you have 20 people subscribed to your blog feed besides me.

I have just begun reading your blog and vote for more essays on the ethnic Germans in Russia both past and present!

I am learning more about Ghana and some of its customs too.

I too stop by frequently and often read your highlighted articles in various journals. Don't know much about Africa (just what exactly is fufu?),
