i'm a lurker--a recent one. Not sure how I found your blog, but I suspect through some link regarding Palestine. I also took up and enjoyed your recommendation for the "Uncultured Wars"
I am a professor of African history at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I don't have a blog but I enjoy yours (esp. as I find myself moving to the right as a Catholic with traditionalist leanings).
Thank you for stopping by Professor Rich. I did not think I had any academics yet alone those studying Africa among my readers. Please feel to add your knowledge to any of my posts.

Thanks for stopping by Caitlin.
Still hanging around your blog and not keeping up with mine as frequently. I try to do once a week when I used to do once a day for years.

No academics following your blog? What am I, chopped liver?
Sorry Walt, I forgot you were an academic. You need to stop making so much sense if you want me to remember it all the time. ;-)
I'll try to be more unreasonable in the future.
Walt you need to post a bunch of stuff praising Uncle Joe then I won't forget your academic status. :-)
